Making Memories
As your celebrant I will work with you both and any other special people you feel would have a positive influence in creating your ceremony, be it children, parents, or close friends but ultimately the day is all about the two of you, and this is what I aim to capture so no chapter, adventure, or moment of your time together will go unnoticed during the writing of your story to reflect your personalities and your uniqueness.
I love my job as a celebrant and really do feel as though I have found my true vocation in life, if you are looking for a celebrant who is easy going, happy and open to all kinds of ideas and plans, and who will work alongside you every step of the way, then look no further.
I enjoy an eclectic mix of style and type of wedding, and am just as happy at a top end venue as I am immersed in woodland; I just adore sharing love with everyone and making happy memories and awesome celebrations!
I get a real buzz of excitement when an enquiry comes in or even better when a completed ‘About Us’ couples questionnaire lands on my doormat or pops into my inbox, and I just can’t wait to hear about you!
So what are you waiting for? Get in touch and let’s chat. X
A Woodland Wedding
Woodland weddings are a favourite of mine and outside weddings have become particularly popular since the covid pandemic.
I’ve been fortunate to have married many couples outdoors, and whether it be in a garden, a field, a wood or the grounds of a grand hotel, there is always something special about being wed in the fresh air and sharing the occasion with nature.
I’ve yet to hold a ceremony on the coast or at a beach and would love to do so. View my social media posts to see some of the wonderful weddings I’ve been lucky enough to conduct and enjoy.
Boho Style Wedding
This wedding shoot was organised by the lovely Jodie of EllaBella Weddings & Events and performed in a beautiful woodland setting in the grounds of All Manor of Events, in Henley, Suffolk. It was covered by Stephanie Moran of Magpie Wedding and wonderfully photographed by Sadie from Big Fish Photography. For the complete supplier list of this event please see EllaBella or Magpie Wedding’s blog links above.
A Handfasting Ceremony
Along with personalised vows I really like the tradition and significance of conducting a handfasting. It’s where the phrase ‘tying the knot’ comes from and it dates from ancient times.
Handfasting is also becoming more popular these days, as are other symbolic and traditional rituals such as sand ceremonies and ring warming.
A less traditional ritual and by far my favourite was having an owl fly in with the rings. Absolutely awesome and unique!
Please note: for a marriage or civil partnership to be recognised under the law of England and Wales, a legally binding ‘registration of marriage,’ must take place.
